Donors and donations, Vito Alessio Robles Cultural Center, Saltillo Coahuila.

The exhibition “Cultural Heritage of CECUVAR. Donors and donations ”, was born from the idea of the Vito Alessio Robles Cultural Center to give visibility to the heritage it protects.
This exhibition frames the unveiling of the “Javier Villareal Lozano” Auditorium plaque, tireless teacher, promoter of the culture of the State of Coahuila.
Lucille Wong participates with four works, starting in May 2021.

Light in Darkness

Lucille Wong participates in the Exhibition at the Niagara Falls History Museum. From May to September 2018. 37 artists from 18 countries exhibit their work, with the theme of inequitable access in the world to clean water.

At Vito Alessio Robles Cultural Center

Three approaches to the landscape: 1) land, sea and sky of Baja California, 2) volcanoes of Mexico and 3) splendor of the desert and pools of Cuatro Ciénegas, three encounters with the enormous diversity of atmospheres, spaces, colors and mirages, give unity and fullness to the third solo exhibition by Lucille Wong, recent work 2008-2018, at the Vito Alessio Robles Cultural Center in Saltillo, Coahuila.

Joint presentation

On November 26, 2016, the architectural firm Arquinteg invited Lucille Wong to participate with twenty five works in the inauguration of a residential space in the south of Mexico City.
The invitation was motivated by the aesthetic parallel between the works of Lucille Wong and the Zen vocation of these architectural spaces.

at the Modern American School

In October 27, 2016, the exhibition “Jardínes revelados. Corceles”, was inaugurated at the Art Gallery of the Modern American School, MAS, located in Coyoacán, at the south of Mexico City. Lucille Wong presented a selection of her recent work with paintings of horses and gardens. The exhibition was inaugurated in parallel with the homage to William Shakespeare and a generous.

“Ten years of work”

On June 29, 2015 Lucille Wong presented the Magisterial Conference “10 Years of Work” in the Auditorium of the Universitary Museum of Contemporary Art, MUAC, at the UNAM. This conference was promoted by AMCATH (Mexican Association of Science, Art and Technology) and the UNAM.
Lucille Wong is a member of the AMCATH. And since a few months ago is responsible for the area of Arts in the Board member.
At the conference she presented a summary of the pictorial projects has done between 2005 and 2015, including the Cycle of more than 50 paintings of the Xinantecatl Volcano, the Pictorial Cycle of the Baja California landscape, and some regions of the Altar Desert, currently under development, and of which it already has more than 20 pictures. She also presented a summary of the nude drawings she has been making for more than 40 years and that are next to being published.

at the Autonomus University frome the State of México

On March 3, 2015, the exhibition “Women in Art” was inaugurated at the Fernando Cano Gallery (in the Rectory building) of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, UAEM, in Toluca, Mexico. Lucille Wong participates with the works: Laguna del Sol and Ronco Sol, from the series of the Xinantécatl Volcano. The inauguration was carried out by Dr. Jorge Olvera García, Rector of the University, and Dr. Eruviel Ávila, Constitutional Governor of the State of Mexico.  

It will remain open until May 8, 2015. In this exhibition you can also see works by AntonietaRivas Mercado, Frida Kahlo, Leonora Carrington, María Izquierdo and Remedios Varo, among other artists.

and time in my painting

On February 14 Lucille Wong offered the conference “The force of serenity and time in my painting” in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León. In this lecture she spoke about the timelessness of his work and presented a video about the pictorial cycle of the Xinantécatl Volcano as an affirmation of his speech.
The conference was presented as one of the activities of the exhibition “The art of Spain, the best of current painting” organized by López Isaza Art Gallery at the Intercontinental Hotel of the City of Monterrey, Mexico.

In October 2014, Lucille Wong, together with a group of painters from San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico, attended two Collective Exhibitions in France, in which there was exhibited painting, sculpture, photo and poetry. Lucille Wong, for her renowned career, was named representative of the group of Baja California artists.

This exhibition was held at the invitation of a French group of art promoters, and consisted of two

collective exhibitions held at Le Biz Lounge in Paris, and at the La Guinguette Hall in Toutry, Bourgogne, a town near Paris.

The 9th Florence Art Biennial was celebrated from November 30 to December 8, 2013 at Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy.

Lucille Wong participated as a guest with two works made specifically for the Biennale with the theme of Ethics in art.

From July 12 to August 16, 2012, an exhibition of painting and sculpture was presented at the Casa del Risco in the Isidro Fabela Cultural Center in San Ángel, at south of Mexico City. The purpose of the exhibition was to present the work of outstanding artists who live or have had their residence in San Ángel. Lucille Wong participated with two works.
